youll NEVER catch me saying that i know that there's no "god". i only have a problem with people who claim that they KNOW that the bible or quran is real, because no human knows that. being that there have been a thousand religions, i dont think anyone knows

that being said, if the big bang or evolution happened under some being's watch then maybe they did. i just find it highly unlikely that any human contains intimate knowledge of this being that they gained from some dusty ass novel. and the majority of religious fools who reject evolution, dinosaurs, etc, because they arent in the bible, are the epitome of ignorance

They would have rather have the ability to decide good from evil rather then God. Problem is they are separated from God with no free will. Only humans possess that trait.

I feel you fam thats one of the major reason I gave up on organized religion. The idea of a god is possible to me I just think the representation of some bearded man in the sky is just a primitive explanation for the universe. At the end of the day each of these religions comes to the same conclusion, that we are all gods. Im agnostic right now, but I doubt I'll ever go back to organized religion, doesnt make much sense to me to subscribe to a history/ lifestyle of any deity thats been drawn up by men.

I hear you on taking now vs 100 years ago and these trends.

The intrinsically specific tolerances we have and need as humans is not up for debate unless people choose to not believe. I can quote non Christian Nobel winning scientists with regard to that but at the end of the day you believe what you want to and you have that ability.

We have what we need to exist, just as any other living organism has what it needs. That doesn't make us special. If we didn't have what we needed to adapt to our environment, we'd be dead. And we will die eventually just like all that lived before us. Saying that we have what we need to live for a finite period of time is a weak argument for a supposedly all-powerful loving creator.
