Broken record, OKC is undersized and no one can create off the dribble aside from Shai

SAS is one of the few teams that is bigger (pause) at every position and has multiple guys who can create off the dribble.
Yeah this is one of the things that jump out. Spurs have Fox, Harper, Castle, and Victor (when he non on is and 1 mixtape steez :pachaha: ) who can create almost any shot out of nothing and OKC just has Shai. Rest of these dudes need a real offense or need some type of advantage when they first get the ball.

Gotta do a better job of getting Wemby the ball. Coach knows Harper is the best chance at that happening.

They just forced 3 straight turnovers. This shyt ain’t over
OKC might win this game but as a Spurs fan I saw what I wanted to see. Has OKC figured out how do do anything successful when Victor is on the court? The answer to that is outside of flopping and Dort trying to injure him...nope.

Bonus points for the Spurs not folding up in the 1st quarter where the Thunder probably played the best basketball they've played all year.

Spurs brehs explain this to me

Why is that the Spurs match up so well with the Thunder? From the couple of games I saw them play each other

1. The Spurs guards are so elite that they force SGA and Jalen Williams
2. Chet/Hartenstein don't have an advantage downlow against Wemby and Kornet
3. Spurs play very physical, and OKC are more of a finesse team
They keep the thunder on the perimeter fringes. Effectively boxing them out of prime scoring areas
everything you just said. The Spurs take everything away from OKC offensively.
-They contest every shot.
-They’re too big and too fast so they can stay with them on D.
-Wembanyama completely eliminates nearly every close to the basket shot.
- Theyre massive so they get all the rebounds.

They turn them into a three-point spamming team and while they can play that way, that’s not their ideal play style.
They’re also mobile and have high basketball IQ on the flour. Great situational and positional awareness as a team. They have size, length and reach too.

Spurs are a hard and physical team to play against because they get all the rebounds and effectively protect/defend the paint , post, midrange very well. They don’t give teams time and space to make plays and they can physically bully and deny other teams within the limits of the rulebook, on some borderline shyt with being dirty or obvious.

OKC is a finesse team but they’re Not that great/comfortable at perimeter playmakimg/offense and three point shooting. Their comfort zone/bread and butter is inside offense, breakaway offense, and rim scoring. Against teams like San Antonio, Shai can still draw fouls and get free throws but he can’t make plays inside, score in the paint, drive to the net and shoot/score from the midrange as much as he wants to.

nah, they need to win this. closing games is important. They lost the NBA cup because they choked the 4th after being in control the first 3 quarters

if u can win the game, win the game
