24, it doesn't matter how old am. Nobody but :flabbynsick: want a PE movie. If you get off the internet, I bet if you asked a person under 40 to name a song from PE besides fight the power, 99 percent could not. Ask them who was in the group and they would say maybe Flavor Flav and that is it and if you are real lucky they would say Chuck D. NWA has been more relevant in pop culture than PE.
if somebody under 30 says they know who professor griff is i might faint . :dame:pause

:francis: i said this shyt all week......HOLLYWOOD will greenlight a NWA movie...cause it's basically about N1GGAS who became famous for being N1GGAS

"life ain't nothing but byatches and money" - icecube

PUBLIC ENEMY SCARES THE ESTABLISHMENT.......especailly when u make a song called BURN HOLLYWOOD BURN and you make blatant refrences to Jews...

ain't no way in hell them zionist studios would greenlight a movie like that

to be honest....STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON is a glorified minstrel show.....NWA wasn't the anti-establishment group that advocates love to promote it as
So why even talk about it?

We can have a full-truth Public Enemy film, but it has to be grassroots funded like the Malcolm X movie with Denzel in it. Meaning that, black entertainers and businessmen need to give their dollars to make that into a reality.

Studio gangstas is an overrated term. It would fit if it is about people who never experienced the streets themselves whatsoever. Lived in a safe upper-classed neighborhood yet rapped about the hood as if they were from there. But all of them were from Compton aside from Cube that was just nearby in South Central during the PEAK of the crack epidemic and gang violence. No matter WHAT a nikka had to deal with that hood life in one way or another just to even survive at that time in the 80's. shyt, even while Kendrick was growing up, he had to do some things just to make it and he's no less "hardcore" as Cube was. They were some real nikkaz that would of put a foot in people asses if you would of call them fake. All of them were from those streets. Ain't none of them were from Beverley Hills. People ought to know how Compton was back then, just because someone like Dre and Yella avoided trying to slang dope or gang bang, or because Cube had parents that wanted him to get a proper education just to get OUT the hood doesn't mean they didn't do what they had to do just to survive the terrorist zone that they existed in. That's why they rapped about that shyt, because it is what they know, seen and experienced.

By that logic, people could easily say PUBLIC ENEMY were some fake studio revolutionaries, just because they were born and raised in a mostly white suburban area of Long Island. But because they were raised under the time where the Black Panther and Black Power movement was at its height, that's was made them to rap about that shyt.

But again, studio gangstas is an overrated term, by that logic, practically 95% of every rapper in the HISTORY of hip hop are studio rappers due to them rapping about the hood and the streets and violence in first person despite never murdering anyone or didn't sell dope or exaggerate stories of the ghetto.

With all of that a Public Enemy film is a good idea and people are ignoring that Ice Cube is currently campaigning for one to happen. But it does take Chuck D and the rest to be down with it and Chuck is acting indifferent right now.

Tua ...Chuck was in a SUBORDINATE role to the Jews cause he Russell Simmons sold him out to Lyor Cohen and co. who were calling the shots...

"sad to say i got sold down the river...still some shiver when i deliver" - chuck d.

but REAL TALK...CHUCK WAS NO PUNK..he still gave them jews hell..especailly when he became the first hip hop artist to say FUKK A RECORD LABEL and leak his album on line for sale on his own website......

CHUCK ain't no ICECUBE..........who will conform to anything :francis: for the right price :shaq:

How does modern Hip Hop have no mention of Chuck D? Cause they be on that secret government shyt.

Gotta agree with Chuck on this.

NWA was a product of the same machine that polluted rap music by turning it into a gangsterific cash grab. Of course there would eventually be a movie about Hip Hop's most influential step-n-fetch-it's.

The same machine that signed the god Rakim and then shelved his project because he wouldn't rap their brand of corporate gangster rap.

The same machine that pushed 50 because he got shot 9 times then shelved him when the novelty wore off.

The same machine that launched Game as some kind of talent because he got shot even though he'd never rapped until that point.

The same machine that pimped Tupac into some kind of gangster rap martyr.

NWA was the genesis of all that fukkery. Not dismissing their talent, all these guys have skills, but the corporate backers behind them were definitely pushing a certain carefully marketed purposely negative image that directly went against what guys like Chuck were doing. He has every right to speak on and call out the moneyed interests involved in this fanfic bio and ask why can't their be a different message.

Outside of Cube, NWA was garbage in terms of message after their 1st album.
