Yo how the fukk do you beat that optional boss in the abbess cave? That muhfukka Fukkin me up… like one shot type shyt… I’m at level 24…. wtf

Made it to the final boss with my party around level 35-ish. Got smoked twice and realized I had 0 chance of beating him.
Went to the Dark Shores to grind some Noirs. Learned their attack patterns and was parrying everything and was raking in about 500,000-1,000,000 xp per fight with minimal effort.
Got my squad up to level 60+ in probably less than an hour and bodied the final boss in like 3 tries.
For my team I threw on the Pictos that lets you do 2 hits on base attacks, +1 AP every turn, heal you on base attacks and heal you on attacks against burned enemies. I kept Verso low health and used his heavy hitting skills. Lune and Maelle had the Pictos that gave them 2 turns in a row. Lune was mainly for healing and adding burns.
Maelle would use her skill that would put her in Virtuose Stance if the enemy was burning, so I would get her to around 7-8 AP, use the 3 AP skill to put her in Virtuouse Stance, gain back 4 AP immediately and use Stendhal with the 200% boost which does like 6 figures worth of damage and deletes like half of the bosses health.
Mind you this is me doing the bare minimum strategizing here. I can’t even imagine the amount of game breaking stuff some of the more skilled guys are doing.

Edit: called Gustave's Homage. It's 8 hits and you get it for writing in Gustave's journal a lot at camp.

Haven't started Act 3 yet and I guess that's an Act 3 skill. The best attack I had was Gustave's Homage which made short work of the last two bosses of Act 2.That not her strongest move…
I maxed out around 80 million dmg

You can get it whenever, but theres a picto that unlock your dmg limiter
