Finished Act II, this is a cotdamn masterpiece :wow: :mjcry: :wow:

Question, I've read that at some point in Act III you can become too powerful for the main story (I've barely done anything and I can see why, lol), so what would be a reasonable level to go to Lumiere, I don't wanna be having 20 minutes fights either :heh:. Weapon level and character level? :jbhmm: :feedme: @Gizmo_Duck @42 Monks
you can absolutely be too powerful by the end of the main story and its not hard to do either. i think around level 42-50 or is what's 'normal'

but its also lore accurate to be OP as fukk with much of the key side content done by the end too :manny:

:whew: I'm glad I read some forums before going back to Lumiere in chapter 3. WTF were they thinking with this quest design?
You try to fight newly reachable field enemies and get curbstomped. You explore and get stronger then go fight Renoir and curbstomp him, resulting in an anticlimactic end boss. Yeah, I know you can unequip paint power, but you shouldn't have to. :stopitslime: The relationship quests should be mandatory to open the final dungeon, especially Maelle's. There are references to all of them in the dungeon.
Game is still good, but Act 3 is weird.

I’m late but I just started playing this, I’m not too far yet I’m trying to navigate through the underwater passage or whatever

Anyway I find myself obsessed with parry and dodge, to the point I hate when I miss it during a fight. Should I be obsessed with this mechanic or will I naturally get better as th game progress

Don't obsess over it you'll get better in time:russ: some of these enemies have absurd timing that dodging is just easier to manage

By the end of the game I could parry some enemies without even looking at the screen, based on the sound.

Pay attention to the sound even more so than what is on screen. Every enemy and boss has an auditory cue. If you remember that it will make parrying 100% easier.

Facts. By endgame, I had to be looking at my TV like Kash Patel just focusing on the sound of the parries.
