I wouldn't say they're classics, but if someone said they were, I wouldn't disregard their taste.
Here's my problem with Redman albums. Let's take Muddy Waters. The production is just inconsistent.
"Creepin", "Pick It Up", "Do What You Feel" and "Whateva Man" are noticeably better than "Rock Da Spot", "Case Closed", "On Fire" and "Smoke Buddah".
Muddy Waters has 23 tracks for fux sake. You're telling me every track, or nearly every track is 10/10 and equal in quality?
Redman's albums were always too long, anyway. With similar vibes and limited subject matter.
