Quality, influence, originality, cohesion in abundance across the 3. I just don't know if number 2 is relevant which is why I'm on the fence about its classic status.
The first three? Yes to both.

Muddy Waters is the one to get recognition if any. So that one is obvious. It's his most certified. Whut? Thee Album has the most qualities of a classic in terms of what it brings to the table with regards to influence, impact etc.
Dare doesn't seem to exude any of those. I feel it's the HOE situation all over again lol.
Let me ask you the question. What makes it just as relevant as the other two? Or why did you vote it a classic anyway?

Here's my problem with Redman albums. Let's take Muddy Waters. The production is just inconsistent.
"Creepin", "Pick It Up", "Do What You Feel" and "Whateva Man" are noticeably better than "Rock Da Spot", "Case Closed", "On Fire" and "Smoke Buddah".
Muddy Waters has 23 tracks for fux sake. You're telling me every track, or nearly every track is 10/10 and equal in quality?
Redman's albums were always too long, anyway. With similar vibes and limited subject matter.

Redman's albums were deliberately conceptual so they could allow for him to talk about whatever he wants.
The whole Dr. Trevis thing was a cop-out in a way to explore his psychological mind state and just go into a bizarre world of random thoughts.
I don't think the production is inconsistent at all. I love pretty much all the beats on his first three albums. There are probably 5 beats total I don't fukk with across the 3 albums.
You seem to be questioning the quality, so you have reason to say no classics, even though I and many others would disagree.
