What’s this talk of Dave not being funny? His specials may not be AS funny as some of his classic ones, but they’re still better than most of these comedians out here. Someone even said he goes on MAGA rants. When??

Even if Dave's not a great as his peak standups or his mid-2010's ones, he's still at the very least solid when it comes to standup. He's just past his prime which happens to many comedians.

Hell, I was watching Katt's special last year and that shyt was completely sterile and almost borderline boring compared to Katt's earlier specials which had more clever jokes and a more electrifying delivery that he's known for.

So, Katt Williams stans calling out Dave Chappelle's latest work is the pot calling the kettle black afaik.

I mean....just look at this shyt.

That said, both Katt and Dave deserve respect for their craft regardless of where they're currently at.

I didn't watch the clip but I watched some of the full show and he did hint at Dave being flimsy on the grounds of Dave always touring with lgbt comics.

Might apply to Aries and Corey, but Katt was the top comedian in the country for a good stretch.

In fact, his real life issues derailing his comedy career is what created the opening for Hart to become the top guy.

If you're old enough to have caught Foxxhole Radio when it was on, remember comedians are super competitive and roast and shade one another every chance they get.

Comedians have always been super competitive.

Maybe Katt's personal trouble open the gates for K Hart or not, that's still on Katt. Personal accountability.

Katt is the top hardcore black comedian and there's nothing wrong with that. It's okay to be competitive but straight hating is not cool.

I agree with you, to the extent that the other critiques he delivered were in rebuttal/correction to what previous guests had said on the same show. Or who personally attacked him.
