All Nas would've had to do was two things
1). Expose Jay for the lifelong Fan of Nas that he was while simultaneously exposing the blatant biting
2). Drop it on Jay's birthday
shyt would've been a WRAP now just as it was then. Remember Meek Mill's fatal mistake was having Twitter fingers, talking ALL that shyt behind a computer and then dropping the most mediocre diss song of the present era. People tend to forget that Nas didn't wait "months" to respond to Jay-Z. Jay-Z did Summer Jam and ENDED with "Ask Nas He Don't Want It With Hov!". Then Nas responded on wax with Stillmatic Freestyle, which wouldn't been enough to keep the convo going. Then in September Jay dropped the full version of Takeover. Nas is notoriously low key. He wouldn't have been on Twitter, Instagram, none of that shyt. The internet could've made jokes but everyone would've known from Stillmatic Freestyle that Nas had it in him...and then BOOM. December 4th, ETHER.
