4:44 is a great album and probably 2nd best in 2017 but DAMN. the best so far. Jay-Z is obviously the better MC but let's not slate Kendrick. He's proven himself thus far.

I'd go with 4:44 slightly because Hov's lyricism is on a whole nother level. Not to say Kendrick isn't world class but Damn is more conceptual than lyrical and Hov put on a clinic

So far for me this year,still need to hear that 2 chainz... that kendrick albun had a littke something for every mood though,which is what Jay normally does....it was kendricks most well rounded joint and actually has alot of replay value....Jays might nt have that just because its not meant for every mood,but i just like Jay so much more as a emcee,i gave it to Jay off first listen of 4:44
