Philly bouls, Trust the Process
Lets not bring defense into this, cuz yall have no problem giving Harden the MVP as a horrible defender....

His numbers across the board are about even with Kyrie Irving(regular and advanced) and hes on a team with less talent than Kyrie and in the top 5 in the NBA amongst team records...

You cannot have Kyrie in the MVP discussion and not DeMar.
James Harden is providing offense on an entirely different level for a much better team. They're not comparable. It's one thing to be a poor defender when you're averaging 32 and 9 versus when you're averaging 25 and 5. Harden's also playing better defense than DeRozan is, as bad as he may be.

I think Kyrie is pretty overrated as an MVP candidate, and he's unquestionably having a better season than DeRozan so far.

season just getting close to midway point. MVP race isnt decided, nor is ROY. I wouldnt count out Demar or DSJ for those awards respectively. a lot more ball to be played.

Absolutely false....the numbers are pretty even, unquestionably means i havent seen one team play and dont know the numbers so im gonna talk out my ass and follow the narrative.
Demar has put up equal numbers on a less talented team thats right behind them....

Harden has 7 PPG more than Demar because his usage is so much higher...Hardens defense is about the same as DeRozans its not much better lol.

and we both know Harden aint gonna get 10 FTs a game in the playoffs when the refs aint calling all that gyrating bullshyt....

There's nothing special about his shooting splits, please point out where I'm wrong :heh:
He's not even in the top 40 among SGs in DBPM, he's 88th among SGs in DRPM, 19th percentile in isolation defense, 20th percentile in PnR defense, 37th percentile guarding spot ups, opponents shoot 2.7% higher than they normally do when guarded by DeRozan, dude is a horrible defensive player there's no other way to look at it.

Look at this muthafukka right here cherry pick BPM cuz thats the only stat he can find thats suits his argument....

Harden is a 0.8 DBPM (meaningless stand alone number) and we all know its cuz he plays in a starting unit with net positive defenders...

Not before handing him the MVP trophy...Same nikkas want to see DeRozan perform in the playoffs before just simply putting him in the conversation.
the main talking point to discredit harden is about how he can't beat the warriors with a significantly less talented team. and they use that talking point that they don't use for any other player to discredit them from being MVP.

on inside the nba they never talk about how well he plays in the regular season but shaq and chuck use their time to always talk about how his game won't work in the playoffs and etc.

both derozan and harden get that "well they're playing good but they won't do shyt in the playoffs so meh"
