People throwing out random stats without using the EYE test to see DeRozan is improved defensively, even though that isn't a massive prerequisite to winning the MVP.

Durant won the MVP with what at the time was average defensive skills. Nash has won MVPs with average/lacklustre defensive abilities. Harden has been a multiple time candidate with subpar defensive skills. DeMar is elite offensively and is hugely valuable to his team, which is a top 5 NBA team as of this moment, while putting up the numbers to qualify.

Harden has 7 PPG more than Demar because his usage is so much higher...Hardens defense is about the same as DeRozans its not much better lol.

Kyrie is beating out DeMar in BPM and RPM with better stats and shooting numbers across the board on a per-minute basis leading a superior Celtics team while being more important to the team's success than DeMar is.

No shyt Harden's USG% is higher, I don't know why this is the first thing yall like to run to I never said Harden was much better than DeRozan on defense, but he is better. MVP is not a regular season award, you're bringing up pointless petty shyt regarding Harden's FT attempts.

its a reg season award. Demar deserves consideration. Harden should be the leading candidate followed by Bron. nikkas tryin to move too many goalposts. if you want to use the postseason arguments then Bron should get it every year. I remember when the Cavs were playing the Raps last year and commentators were saying Bron is the real MVP, not Russ. I had no problem with Russ getting it, but I knew before hand they werent gonna do shyt in the offs.

The stats are shiny, but watching the games, he never jumped out like a Tiger to me
