I doubt it, plus if they quit their income options are extremely limited. Better a regular paycheck with delayed hazard pay, than delayed unemployment with no other income.
Nah. It ain’t right at all that people on the front lines are making sometimes a quarter of their unemployed counterparts. It’s ass backwards. It ain’t right at all, They gotta fix this shyt cause people getting frustrated. People ain’t gonna wanna come to work and risk they lives for $300 a week while their coworkers can choose to stay home and bank in $750-800 a week easily. On top of the $1200 stimulus.

Instead of trying to pander to and give "free" shyt to people in a cynical effort to buy votes - how about they work with the other party to put a plan together to get people back to work? Or is it that they would rather put politics ahead of the country's needs because they don't want to give Trump what may seem like a political win?
Nicca we in the midst of a pandemic that has hit over two million people. Killed a shyt load of people. 22 million plus unemployed and those numbers are going to go up. This shyt gonna be here for the rest of the year.

Those are just numbers, the system is so backed up that getting the money is inconsistent. What about when you go to file a claim and the server is busy and won't process? Or you have to call for 3 days straight as soon as the lines open to speak with someone. You think people working are frustrated, the people at home are just as fukked up. No steady income, no way to hustle to make income, an over burdened system and week promises. I'm not saying hazard pay isn't deserved, but steady income is a WAY better position to be in right now.

Everybody that I know that’s unemployed is getting mad bread right now. Yea sometimes it’s a delay. But once u get it u get it. I know nikkas who was working regular jobs pulling in 1K a week. While essential workers are getting ZERO. When people see that type of shyt they def willing to take they chances being home. There’s literally a million articles on this shyt and pissed off workers. shyt. Even bosses. I’m not saying the unemployed shouldn’t get anything but the essential workers shouldnt be making less than unemployed people. That’s retarded.

The whole shyt is ass backwards and unsustainable. And yes it is self serving pandering on the DEMs part because dangling money in front of people is not addressing the issue and is not something that can keep happening.

You know it's counterproductive because of the spike of people applying now.

Which solution potential has the individual gain even if for 6 months? Job hunting and going through a hiring process or file unemployment?

One isn't likely to command 2400 a month, the other is guaranteed when you get, and some states get it rolled out in less than two weeks.

meanwhile the essential worker hasn't truly gotten anything valuable to them other than increased risk. No way that can be viewed as fair.

A cashier aint sniffing 2400 a month after taxes for instance. I'm sorry, that person needs to be compensated asap.

Aint no temp check being done when thousands even millions of customers come within in their contact. And a place like a gas station, that same employee is the one likely sanitizing the place too right after folks who could be sick come in and out like nothing.

I personally salute those folks. I couldn't do it.
