If this goes on much longer we'll be seeing dividends getting cut and suspended indefinitely. Great time to get in but it's best to go with proven solid payers that never cut.

:mjlol: Naw, the ones I got are all stable and still paying. If you choose the right ones, nothing should change.

you gave me advice before but what are your thoughts on nike as along term divdens stock say 5-10 years

:mjlol: Nike is a good stock to have, but Dividend wise, that's a hard NO. I personally don't think ANYONE should have a lower yield than 33%.

thanks for the response currently have Disney and nike in my portfolio looking to add 3-5 more stock with 27k split in between for long term hold

Nike has a 31% payout ratio on their dividend. They're right there with Disney who also has a payout ratio that low. They have a lot of room to grow that dividend and as time goes on they will.
