Good and evil is a concept that is used to manipulate the masses through karma, religion, etc. How can you measure how good or bad something is? There is no instrument to measure good or evil to an exact degree. Those terms are definable because humans created them, like the thousands of other words derived from human made concepts. Morality is a manmade invention just like the rest of these philosophies, albeit it is one of the more believable ones. Does the lion fear retribution for slaughtering a young gazelle? No my friend, because until humans came along, things were not right or wrong, they just were. There are very few actions that are inherently good or evil, it is all part of human beings desire to be compensated for their perceived "good" and punished for the "bad". Don't you ever wonder why the Abrahamic religions all cater to basic human desires, eternal justice, immortality, that we are the chosen ones?
Humans didn't create good and evil, they recognized those forces and labeled them accordingly. A lion may not fear retribution for slaughtering a gazelle, but a lioness will take care of and protect its young without having to be told to do so. That in itself is a form of morality, and it doesn't have to be taught, it just is. Just because humans are the only sentient beings to define and classify these laws according to the mental faculty that corresponds to our species doesn't mean we "created" them on our own.
