The data does not say that listening to Mozart will make you smarter. It shows that those who naturally gravitate to Mozart generally score higher on the SAT. That is the difference.
I do not believe that SAT scores are accurate measures of intelligence, because like I said before, there are many different types of intelligence. It depends on what definition you choose to go by. BUT I do believe that the researcher has a point.
I am not sure why people are making this into a genre argument. All genres of music have their good and bad. This is not an argument about rap vs classical. I don't think anyone is arguing whether people who listen to rap are stupid, because that is obviously false. It is about the particular artists, songs and lyrics.
No, the data doesn't... that's just what you decided the data meant.YOU said this, the data doesn't.
you came to a conclusion based upon what you feel this represents, not what the data is.
the data is nothing more than were the listeners of specific artists SAT scores fell on average.
do you know what confirmation bias is?

....even tried to get tickets to their reunion tour in vegas ....(sold out in like 10 mins)

so he hacked into peoples' personal data instead of using the general data that he says he used?
I doubt it
No. He got famous for being a hacker. And I have also stated before that it lacks validity, BUT he does have a point and other research has proven that.
