The roster was fukked regardless of whether Doc was the coach or not. There's enough blame to go around for everyone, but Horst shouldn't be absolved of it just because of Doc's reputation.

But he should've never been the coach and he did underhanded shyt in order to do so and Giannis played his part too. That is a seperate discussion from roster construction but we also cant act like their own performance/availability or lack thereof didn't impact said roster construction or how the roster looks as constructed. If they did what they were supposed to do all the credit would be going to Doc and Giannis (and Dame) and rightfully so. Nothing would be spread around. But since it went the other way, they gotta wear this undeniable failure without it being spread around.

From my impression it caught both him and top 75 off guard.

But with Giannis, seeing how he recruited half his family, and shyt like that it seems like he started whining passively aggressively. As usual saying it without saying it. And like many other nba players who think they are great coaches or GMs got what he asked for. Which was a lot worse than what was.

But somehow I can’t put all mishaps in this crazy tilt by the Bucks on Giannis. New co-owner (same guy who owns the Browns) and other things must play in.
