You listen to what Doc says and it's that Ainge and ownership wanted to trade him to start over, that he had nothing to do with it.

If Doc made it clear he was coming back, he'd still be Celtics coach. He didn't and management started exploring options.

If you work for any business you are going to be judged on the quality of your work and if you start fukking up, you're gone. since when is the clippers job better than the celtics? only because the celtics were old now and have to start over doc gave em the pacspit, the same doc who never got out the first round until ainge gave him garnett, rondo, and allen, the same doc who couldnt even win 35 games in boston until he got rondo allen and garnett. the celtics were paying him 7 mill a year, its not like the clippers are paying him more.
