A progressive mothefukker who sees racial politics for what they are and is a hard worker is barely making it so you KNOW these young cats are doomed. We need to come to a realization that they social system we participate in everyday was not built for us. These CACs don't want us to get off welfare and get our shyt together. They want us DEAD. The only way you remove a potential threat is to kill it, not chain It to a pole. When the US goes to war it bombs the "enemy" into oblivion. And that's what the dominant society wants for us.

I'm gonna be the voice of controversy on this and say that it's been downhill ever since Integration. It destroyed the need for black owned businesses. Destroyed the need for our own schools. In many ways, it has bearing in destroying our family. The first too could bounce back but the Family is in disarray. Hard to get off the ground with that lacking so badly. I sometimes wonder if there could have been an alternative to the drastic move of integrating. If we needed better books and facilities with which to teach, wouldn't it have been a lot less condescending to simply supply us with it instead of instilling the we better blend them with whites mindset? It's a barely subtle way of saying we would give this stuff to you on your own but you'd just mess it up. Thoughts?

On the other hand, you could be the ultimate voice of pessimism/realism and say that not everybody can end up being a winner anyway(everybody winning in a way seems to be the definition of arriving that many speak of when you sit and think about it). We have many kats out here doing pretty damn good and many forms of help given to the community. It doesn't rival other races but neither does our percentage of the population.

This isn't controversial at all...I don't see how anyone can't see how integration was a bullshyt political policy aimed directly at adding to our international reputation and was not meant to be a real process....Charles Payne said it best really: integration was the policy while desegregation was the means to further destroy all autonomous black behavior...integration IS NOT what the black masses wanted...only the preachers and middle class wanted it...the black masses wanted federal aid to improve our schools, streets, housing, employment opportunities, etc...but the govt used our people as Cold War fodder....
