Does getting married and the wedding costing 20k+ make sense if u dont own your home?

surely that could go to your deposit? or if you do have a home surely that would be a nice little over payment. bear in mind the average wedding cost between 19k - 33k, which is insane if you don't have other debst paid off.

Depending on the couple, I don’t see why they can’t do both (save for a wedding and a house). Not opposed to courthouse weddings, but I personally think a wedding is fine as long as you can budget for it properly.
