My preference for the bigger emotional picture is why i kinda stopped fukking with him.

Rather hear the cool than this. And the cool painted a way better picture than this its not even close.

And no im not 16 anymore. I dont know the happenings or the inner workings of his life/art; i think his problem in relaying that is what everyone is talking about who dont like him.

Mural isn't bad but I can't imagine anyone bumping it unless they're trying to "prove" something. That's not why I listen to rap music, sorry. Nas don't have any songs like that either...is Lupe better?

Nas lyricism is far more creative and profound than Kendrick Lamar. SO while, he might not have a 9 minute song with just bars, he's solidified his lyrical prowess without dropping a song like Mural.

To answer the question: no Kendrick doesn't have a track like that and that is one of the things I'm thankful for on this day

I guess the point Lupe stans are making is that Kendrick Lamar isn't capable of making a song like Failure, Lupe the Killer, Dumb It Down, SLR, Mural or Mural Jr, Poor Decision verse, Theme Music to a Drive By, Game Time etc etc etc... you get the point.

And that's why there will always be nikkas that feel like Lupe is the better RAPPER. Key word, rapper, not artist. So yeah, we all know Kendrick is capable of making emotion inflicting powerful songs, highlighting his storytelling abilities... but so can Lupe. Which I think is the point that is being missed in all this.

Kendrick has the better discography overall from a consistency level. Lupe has Lasers and F&L2 under his belt, and Kendrick hasn't dropped a dud yet. Let's keep it a buck breh. I can see if you think Lupe's best album is better than Kendrick's best on a preference level, but if we talking about both of their discographies, I can't agree

I am from chicagoland so i been following Lupe since the start

I like some of his albums.....i was more commenting on how Lu stans always use Mural as the gold standard of his work when he has way better songs.

Kendrick n Lu are way different artists so i dont understand why ppl are comparing them

Drogas was good but it def wasnt no classic....same way TPAB wasnt really a classic that ppl tried so hard to make one.

To be real neither Lu nor Kendrick have a true classic

I really like Section 80 and good kid just like i really like The Cool n Testuo

If youre going to compare a TDE artist to Lu....Ab Soul would b a more apt comparison even tho his discography is hella weak
