What truth does it reveal about him outside of he bowed out of working with three of the greatest artists of all time? He would have to be a GOAT himself to even be commissioned by the three of them for work. They don't just work with anybody.

According to who? If you had Dre among the greats before seeing this interview and are knocking him down because of what he said, you're an idiot and anything you say about music from this point forward is worthless.

R. Kelly isn't a Hip Hop producer. Show me a classic Hip Hop album helmed or produced by R. Kelly. This is why I said Prince, MJ, and Stevie were outside Dre's comfort zone.

It would be like Nas and Jay Z asking R.Kelly to produce for them and him turning them down because he doesn't do Hip Hop like that. He did a whole album with Jay, granted he didn't produce the whole thing, but those Best of Both World albums are bottom tier for both their careers.
So Dre froze because he's a Hip-Hop producer?

You're agreeing with me then. It replaces his legacy where it belongs. He couldn't go past that.

No, I'm not agreeing with you. Dr. Dre is a GOAT Hip Hop producer, widely considered #1 and one of the best producers overall.

There's truly some ignorant idiot trash posters in The Booth. Let's look at the credits to "You Are Not Alone"

Produced By
Michael Jackson & R. Kelly
Written By
R. Kelly
Synthesiser & Programming
Peter Mokran, Andrew Scheps & Steve Porcaro
Background Vocals
R. Kelly

^^^ I'm guessing this exposes R. Kelly considering he didn't do programming or the synthesizer on this song

Credits to "Billie Jean":

Produced By
Quincy Jones & Michael Jackson
Written By
Michael Jackson
String Conductor
Jeremy Lubbock
String Arranger
Jerry Hey
Synthesizer Programmer
Bill Wolfer
Fender Rhodes
Greg Phillinganes
Drums
Leon “Ndugu” Chancler
Synthesizer
Michael Boddikker, Greg Smith & Bill Wolfer

Credits to "Human Nature":

Produced By
Quincy Jones

Written By
John Bettis & Steve Porcaro

Synthesizer Programmer
Steve Porcaro

Arranger
David Paich, Steve Lukather & Steve Porcaro

Guitar
Steve Lukather

Drums
Jeff Porcaro

Percussion
Paulinho da Costa

Emulator
Michael Boddikker

Synthesizer
Bill Wolfer, Greg Smith & David Paich

I could post more, since ignorant, idiot posters on The Booth actually think bringing in session musicians and having co-producers somehow exposes a producer's lack of talent.

There had to be an element of intimidation. MJ and Prince were true musicians, especially Prince.

Imagine these nikkas lookin over your shoulder while you at the sound board lifting samples. And they tawmbout,..."is...is that what you do? :scust:"

This is from 20+ years ago with Dre explaining why he couldn't work with Michael Jackson:

Sound like an excuse according to you.

Is it because he did not want to order MJ around or was it because he's a Hip-Hop producer unable to leave his comfort zone?

Is it Oochie walie walie or One mic?
