No. Only on his stomach. Smart lip is different from regular lipo. During smartlip, people are awake. The dr. makes small incisions where you want the fat gone, then sticks a small/skinny warm laser tube thing (idk what it's called) inside & move it around to get rid of the fat. There are lots of videos on youtube of it being performed.

He supposedly got it done around the time that he missed the Wireless performance.

Here's a pic of a male before and after they got smart lipo

There are more if you google. It looks weird because the muscles under the fat are not ususally developed enough to be seen through the skin yet and when you do see them (b/c they got the lipo) it looks strange. It will probably look more normal if he continues to work out.

You stupid

whats the main purpose of it?

I'm getting some good info from this thread :feedme:

Calf Raises, Shrugs, Rows, and Front Squats just off the top..... The smith machine wasn't intended for full range of motion I don't think.. If you're gonna work out your chest on it, it needs to be in conjunction with some free weights or push ups. Even then I would focus on the negative part of the rep and use varying degrees of my hand positions to isolate certain areas of my chest......

Ultimately, what are you trying to do? If its to build strength and get into solid shape, then it serves no real purpose... If you're body sculpting, then it has some value

Just got negged for being a liar :mjlol: like I care what a bunch of people on an internet forum think of me

Just discussing bullshyt since I just left the gym.:yeshrug:

Like I said though, it's funny how the heaviest shyt talkers/tough guys I ever met have truly never seen struggle in their lives or have never had a gun in their face and told they ain't shyt

Life is humbling

Yeah I checked my weight after you asked, the scale said I'm 180. I am trying to drop to 175. I don't know bro I ain't squatted or worked legs since high school so I really ain't shyt, and I ain't deadlifted since like three months ago, still pulled 315x8 somehow

Appreciate it bro but I still got a lot of work to do out here. Always lifting for myself and to keep improving on what I was, what I am, and what I'm trying to be.

Doing dips for 100 even with 4-5 reps, no matter what is still hella impressive, that's just pure raw strength you're carrying.

:skip: Just checked my weight and I'm 173. I'm currently just trying to cut a little more weight I guess, I want to get serious about running and just being more balanced fitness-wise overall. At my peak weight I was like 200 pounds but I was just chubby as fukk, couldn't wear jeans, and I trained with a shytty split routine whereas now I do a fullbody routine that's pretty much all compounds and maybe or two accessory movements thrown in.

But I appreciate it bro. I'm the same exact way. I'm always just trying to stick with my training and keep it rolling. 315 x 8 is good tho on DL, I literally did that yesterday.

DL is like the only lift I really feel respectable at as far as the big three goes, and I personally love the rush you get after a heavy ass set. I don't ever see myself not training. I just love to do it. But that's good man, we need more lifters like yourself that are about helping and being a good influence. I try to do the same whenever people have an open mind and are willing to listen.

:dahell: How the fukk do you do front squats on the smith machine. I feel like my wrists are gonna shatter everytime I tried to do front squat on it.

salute threadstarter, thread title got me laughin so hard i prob won't be able to get to sleep now. first of all, the bar aint even come near his chest, lmao, them struggle ass reps. and secondly, for any serious gym heads it's common knowledge, if yo ass is benching on the smith machine you are a fukkboy or an old ass man, or a laughable novice. I sometimes, very rarely, use the smith machine for squats, i could probably bench 500 five times on the smith machine. judging off this clip he could probably bench 200 on the smith machine 8 times cleanly... if that's the case why doesn't his trainer put him on the real bench and let him start out at 135 (2 plates plus the bar) and pyramid up to like 185 for 2-3 reps after like 4 sets of increasing and keep that routine for a week, 2-3 times a week, and then increase the 2-3 rep set weight to 200 the following week, etc...? he would see gains way faster, and get stronger way faster. and get this man on the cables, hit them pulldowns, son got triceps like my daughter tryna flex with the benchin
I got out of personal training bcus theres too many egotistical narcissistic know it all fakkets like you in the gym culture :camby:

Just one more thing, fukk off u dirty fakket :pacspit:

my pops has one which I used to use but I just go to the gym now, he had the lat pull downs, and all the other pully type exercises on it which I used it for, outside of incline benches I never really used it for benching.

I would use it to incline which was included in the days where I would just use dumbells.

I feel ya... You must do the clean grip all the time..... I switch up just depending on how I'm feeling. When I'm on the smith machine I used the crossed arms technique..... and the smith machine allows me to secure the weight easier going this route, and I don't have to worry about my wrists bothering me halfway through the set.....

I feel ya on the wrist pain tho... They bother me whether its free weights or the smith machine on certain exercises..... I guess I just got some punk ass wrists......... :yeshrug:

Don't need to use your wrists. You can rest it on your front deltoids. The bar ain't going nowhere.

The range of motion on a Smith Machine with front squats is such that it doesn't stress the joints as much, so I wouldn't take issue to it being used for that. Same deal with shrugs, calf raises and upright rows for shoulders. (I wouldn't do back rows with it because the range of motion would be restrictive.) But again, free weights > Smith every time because of stabilization.

What about for losing weight? I'm trying to shed pounds and get cut, not just add muscle. Any advice?

Here's the thing man. If you're a novice, you can get away with being retarded with your routine in the beginning. Don't stress it too much. Lifting weights are important for weight loss because your BMR will increase with the more muscle mass you get which will therefore allow you to consume more food without gaining weight.

In laymans terms, lifting weights will help you lose weight in conjunction with a healthy diet. The key is determining your energy intake so you can start counting calories. In the beginning you can get away with just cutting out sodas and juices, eating lean meats, vegetables and portion control.

As a novice you can easily start weight training, eating better, drinking better, and you'll notice dramatic results within 6 months if stick to it, sometimes even quicker depending on how hard you work.

One tip: stop drinking calories. Don't drink tons and tons of juice, eliminate soda completely, no energy drinks, no sports drinks. Just drink water, that's all you need. Once you figure out how to count calories, you can worry about working them in.

If you wanna look "cut", lift weights, eat in a caloric deficit, and do some cardio. Remember that cardio may only burn max 300-400 cals if that depending on the intnensity so really the diet is the key to achieving the look you want.
