1. Eat better. Not no punk ass salads and tofu shyt, eat your chicken breasts and salmon and even lean cuts of beef with a sweet potato or brown rice, etc... you can add veggies to it as you like. Cut out the pizzas and fried food, fast food, all that bullshyt, just eat cleaner and make sure you're not skipping breakfast (oatmeal preferably, with an apple) lunch or dinner.
2. Sleep. 7-8 hours a night
3. Rest days. Working out 6-7 days a week is just dumb, if you're lifting to failure (like you should be) then working out one body part more than 2-3 times a week is counterproductive, u can actually lose mass like that. Muscles don't grow while ur tearing them down working out, they grow during the rest periods.
4. Protein powder. I prefer Whey, but u can do the research and find out what best suits you.
5. Lift heavy. Sounds obvious but you'd be shocked how many people be lifting a weight that they can hit 12 reps on, lol. If you can comfortably do 12-15 reps for multiple sets YOU WILL NOT SEE GAINS. when ur going for mass start out with something u can lift comfortably 5-6 times for the first set. By your last set you should feel like u can't even get that bytch up 1 time cleanly without putting everything into it.
6. Proper form. Make sure you're staying honest when u lift, u can see gains by cheating too but u will see more when ur form is kept firm and honest, hits the primary muscle better, in most gyms they got the shyt right there on the walls somewhere showing u the proper form, just youtube it, ha.
