Except this is hip hop and Nas is from Queensbridge so taking a female to court probably isn't a good look.

I think it hurts the whole culture when our greatest legends have others tarnishing their legacy and reputation from people who are supposedly also hip hop heads with a certain status. People should voice their opinion over it here and on Twitter. i think it's really ironic for you guys to start women bashing, calling her derogatory names concerning her gender, and the whole nine crying about feminists and women having equal rights when that is the same reason why the whole feminist movement started. it's about treating women with respect and not like dogs. i understand if you have a problem with what she said. that's cool but to call her a b!tch and saying she has no place to talk because she is a woman pretty much strengths her point of what she said about you guys. it's sad because it just shows how ignorant people are where they can't formulate a decent rebuttal against someone so they have to get offensive.

but realistically you are just focusing on the people who are taking that line. i agree that some of the remarks sent her way have been out of line. however, alot of others are actually addressing the fact that she made an unsubstantiated accusation and wants to be taken for her word with no evidence to support her claim, knowing very well that is a completely unacceptable position for a journalist regardless of gender.

she chose to take the feminist angel after her claim was not supported by stic.man and Jay Elect. Requiring her to prove her claim has nothing to do with gender and everything to do with the fact that she is the person making the accusation.
