Word. Didn't DJQ say on the radio for Suge to come holla at him, Suge knows where I stay? 03 won't a great year for Quik, that's the same year he pistol-whipped his damn sister cause she was plotting to kidnap his kids, IIRC. He spent part of 06 in jail.

Early 00's in general weren't good years for Quik. He had really kind of fallen off, and was kinda viewed as irrelevant; especially as the south and VA begin to rise and take over. Suge would have had no problem stepping to Quik whatsoever, especially with the deeper connections he had. I have also heard some stories of Suge hassling Quik, and that Quik had security cameras around his property to keep watch for Suge Knight.

DJ Quik finished Eiht on that track. Although Dj Quik is the Producer MC Eiht is the better rapper but fell off to soon and his albums aged like shyt even tho CMW Music To driveby was older was probably his best album. By 1999 his music had turned completely garbage. Dude coulda been sick if he had Dj muggs produce all his shyt because those are the songs i remember from MC eiht bieng dope. Dude was a beast if he didnt choose such garbage beats and make such outdated music.
