No you proved my point. 2/3 of Americans have the Internet and the majority of the ones that don't have home Internet still have a smart phone. If we only look at people who own a gaming system now, the number of people without the Internet would be even less. Your argument is stupid and just based in your ps stanery. If Microsoft is targeting gamers and the iPad crowd then the overwhelming majority of their target audience already has the Internet.
You could say as a consumer you have some worries about the stability of microsofts servers. That would be a real concern, but to say that you'd have to also hold Sony accountable for their historicaly unreliable service. You won't do that, so you'll fall back on the idiotic premise of using the Internet to complain about an online connection
