Buffalo weather was MUCH HARSHER than Denver’s. And you don’t lose to qbs in a super bowl...you lose to teams. Did you watch Super Bowl 25? The Giants played keep away with the ball to keep the ball from Kelly. Did you not see the time of possession for that game. Andre Reed has the yips that game as well. You didn’t watch that game saying “KeLLy lOSt tO HoSTEtLEr” who wasn’t even the MVP of that game. It was old man Otis Anderson.Kelly went to 4 straight Superbowls and lost all 4. I'll give him a mulligan for the 2 against the Boys because they were a dynasty but the other 2 he lost to back up QB's. Hostetler was third round pick and Rypien was drafted in the 6th round. Rypien was a third stringer the year before and those Bills teams were stacked. Kelley played with 4 Hall of Famers, 2 wide receivers and one running back and a Hall of Fame coach no excuses for him. Not to mention a few Pro Bowlers too. Elway was better. Use the Terrell Davis excuse all you want but Kelly player most of his career with Thurman Thomas who was better.
Looks like when he got a run game and a good defense he was able to put it all together hall of fame with 2 rings on his resumeI think Aikman was held back from having greater numbers. Emmitt was the FIRST player to lead the league in rushing and win a ring. Prior to him, it was deemed impossible for teams to win in that manner. Aikman numbers were sacrificed as a result....and rightfully so..what the Boys did worked.John Elway and Troy Aikman = 2 most overrated QBs in the 90's.

Watching them play, u can plug any decent QB back there and win. Aikman wasnt ask to do much with the line, RB and weapons he had. But i remember clearly in the 90's when he was winning rings, everyone was trying to proclaim him #1 when better QB's were still playing.
I think thats when the whole "X amount of rings make u the best QB" shyt started.

I don’t know about .that. Aikman skinny post to Irvin...those throws were
he was so accurate man. He made a bum like Alvin Harper look like a scary receiver because he was so accurate on deep throws. LOL at Alvin talking shyt, then going to Tampa and turning to shyt.

Yea he did make some nice throws. But throwing to Irvin is like having Moss before Moss was Moss
That cowboys team was
we have them to blame for all these Cowboy fans running wild out there now![]()

I remember the TD/INT splits being practically identical for 10 years.

That’s not true. In fact Rypien made the pro bowl in 1989 — as an injury replacement, but still.Rypien was a third stringer the year before and those Bills teams were stacked.
