So I stuck around for PTI. It’s like watching a time capsule of when ESPN was the gold standard. Witty banter, hockey and baseball talk and of they haven’t changed the bumper music or format.
I still will randomly yell “mail time!” when going to get my mail…wild the random stuff that’s engrained on me from espn shows

ATH and PTI are like Kiper and Van Pelt, you associate them with ESPN like they're part of the furniture in Bristol. Some of the last remaining remnants of the networks golden years.

Sad to see one of those tentpoles go down but Reali and the OGs being there for the end felt right.

Tony and Mike still entertaining together, their problem is they only both on like half the time now

my point was that when his show started he wasnt a superstar...he is only a superstar because of the show...I dunno if that makes sense lol
Yeah I feel you, but my original point is that he was a star already FROM the show lol. I was just saying he was a media star before ESPN, so of course he’s gonna get treated differently. I wasn’t trying to argue that he was a star player.

This was a proper send off. I enjoyed this final week. Allergies started acting up on that last bit from ol' stat boy.

We lost something special today, even if you weren't a fan of everybody. It was special.
I apologize if this sounds like a diss, but what was so special about this show? I would much rather watch outside the lines any day before around the horn.
