Vogel is a terrible offensive coach, who really only had success in LA with a really well put together assistant staff with J Kidd and having Bron/Rondo controlling the offense while he did the defense.

Rondo has come out before stating that the staff essentially let him and Bron run the offense for the most part.

Do you have a source that confirms that NBA coaching contracts/media contracts have offset language between the two professions?

Why a coach should be paid less because of what his ESPN contract is or vice versa makes no sense.

Coaches typically aren't able to double dip from being a commentator and from their coaching gig. It was the case with Doc and publicly with Rex Ryan a few years ago.

Offset language is rather common in these type of contracts. It's why I kept telling posters last year that Key wasn't going to be able to double dip from ESPN and FS1 eventhough that one tweet said otherwise.

imo, The problem in phx was booker was undermined.
as the pg and assist leader for this team before cp3 and after Kd.
That upsetting that natural dynamic worked with cp3 to the finals.

Yet durability caused cp3 to be removed.

as the pg team leader. Then that was usurped by the admin change and kd slash Beal trade. Where now book as the de factor leader who worked up as a natural leader to the org. Was undermined again.
