I think things are moving that way. I see Somalia, Somaliland and Puntland entering some type of confederation in the future with a Swiss or EU type of set-up. I think your people are tired of war.

Wallahi I laughed. Out loud. :russ:

Federation is our best bet atm. But the clans are completely fukking this up. The khaatumo region for instance would solve a lot of problems but the major clan there (duhulbahante) dispute each other even at the lowest level. Puntland is currently lead by gaas the obese nikka in my ava, and while development in the major cities are improving things are simply not where they should be.

Somaliland as you know is filled to the brim with delusional isaaqs. They won't rest until secession occurs or their demented provisions are met. Which includes moving the capital to hargeisa.

My ppl are doomed fam.

The thing is I'm fully in favour of a split up like Switzerland. It works perfectly for our clan setup. But everyone has to compromise something.

We getting annexed fam. It's truly a sad state of affairs. Somalis leave Somalia and create incredible wealth everywhere they go within Africa but somehow can't create a feasible in-state solution.

Siyaad really fukked us up. And the 4.5 system just prolonged the fukkery.

You know, it might be better off in the long-run if you forget about Somaliland. Germany does fine without German-speaking Austria or predominantly German-Switzerland in their country

To be honest they're hardly worth keeping all things considered. They rank high in the poverty index and aid money recipiency. But it's still weird that ethnic Somalis who share the same genes, language, religion and customs can't get along.

Sland leaving just opens the door for balkanization imho. Sounds like a slippery slope but I don't see why puntland would wanna stay afterwards.

Do you see any annexation possible in the future to reunite the seperated the families after all these years? Eritirea would benefit heavily from Ethiopia's resources.
impossible. too many martyrs on both sides. especially on the eritrean side the percent of young men lost in the wars in relation to the population size is pretty staggering. for that eritreans take their independence very seriously.

Many of the locals want to remain with Ethiopia. Either that or Independence.:yeshrug:

We need to fix our own shyt before we can talk about Ogaden bro.

No they don’t. Unlike the confused isaaqs they would rejoin Somalia if they could in a heartbeat.

Anyways I’ve always thought that Somali, Ethiopia and Eritrea should have an EU style system anyways. We should work together on business, military and education. But we all need to govern the politics of our own native lands. The idea of uniting many African countries is a pretty one but the reason most places in Africa even have ethnic strife at the moment is because they were forcefully united by Europeans into countries that never existed before. I’m all for uniting but it has to be on Africans terms. And as much as it pisses off imperialistic Ethiopians that means letting the Oromos, Somalis, Afar etc own their own land. Till they do that they’re just another imperialistic power that doesn’t respect Somali sovereignty much like the Arabs and Europeans.

That means absolutely nothing when it comes to having “boarders”

Have you seen the way Mexicans treat other mestizos who illegally enter Mexico?

Or how Bahamanians treat Haitians?
Bahama breh are more closely related to AAs...
...and were responsible for a lot of anti haitian attacks that got blamed on AAs.

I feel like Ethiopia acting as a puppet to take out the ICU fukked y’all over big. From the looks of it, they were a respected group that was getting things in order. That’s some a$$hole shyt to get rid of the more moderate ICU and leave al Shabab behind to fill the void. Grimey shyt. :beli:
