I grew up when stand up comedy was stand up comedy period also, out of curiosity what time period had all of these wild jokes that you all speak of?

It’s already rare to push the edgy envelope but yea it has been done….However it’s damn near unheard of to push it against your people regarding death

So you will see a Nicole brown Simpson joke….you will see a Rodney king or Michael Jackson joke—-while he was living——but you won’t see an Emmit till joke, or a Trevon Martin joke Nggas making up shyt

And yea I’m assuming it’s your people

Black comedians have made questionable jokes against MLK, Malcolm X, Harriet Tubman, etc.

The irony is that in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, hacky comedy was ALWAYS frowned upon. Don't let these horrible comedians tell you any different
