one thing I'd mention that when I read it, it didnt say it was "support payment" just that he gave the $600. if thats me, I pick my son up and take him shopping for the school clothes and supplies. other than that, if he gives it to the mother then I agree, she pretty much did the right thing.

This is kind of goofy though. Judge ain't going to name the father as the custodial parent just because the mom is broke.

This....it rarely happens. Usually a man gets full custody the woman didn't want the kid and agreed for the man to take full custody. Or she was a horrible mother who left the kid everywhere or ran the streets or was on drugs.

This whole the man gets the kid in custody battles is some Hollywood shyt that rich or powerful men can do. Cause most men who want full custody don't get it when its the judge decision. Most judges rightly or wrongly feel whats best for the kid is joint custody between the father and mother.
