I know exactly the type you're talking about. You can always tell who they are from jump - always talking too much, no type of discretion or tact, always having to be in the mix etc. I keep those types of females at arms length because once they get to know you a little bit then they start to get too overbearing and overfamiliar for their own good and think they can just deal with and talk to people any old way. You have to dead that shyt from day one, don't give them your number, nothing. If you're in an environment where you have to see them regularly, hi and bye is all that needs to be said.

A female friend obviously finds you attractive in some way and is keeping you around as an option if everything else falls through,or possibly waiting on you to get your act together.
Sabatogue is almost 100% guaranteed if she is around you and other women.
But to answer OP's question,most men are hoping to have their female friend around while he interacts with women.
They are hoping she will see him interact and get jealous and suddenly desire him enough allow him to fukk,as he's been stuck in the friendzone.

In this situation I don't think that's the case. These people with the exception of the middle guy have no each other for over 20 years. I am pretty sure the friendships are genuine. I just think she's too comfortable within the friendship.

We don't pick up on it. I remember a friend of mine flipping the fukk out whilst I was hitting it off with one of her friends. I checked her on principle but it took me a while to piece together her motives.

A lot of the time we are left questioning the sudden interest, mood swings, need to bring up inappropriate stories etc.

I think you're right. The first guy was pretty oblivious until she confessed that she wouldn't be cool if the situation were reversed. At least you checked your friend.

Maybe I should give them the benefit of the doubt but you at least gotta recognize it while it's in front of your face.

Probably,but women are territorial with their female friends. So I'm not sure why a man would put himself in that situation.
Females minds are built different where they can see being overbearing and being controlling as love.
