I used to have those problems, I play 4-1-2-1-2DIAMOND.with CM-CDM-CM. So I have one CM that doesn't sit up so high.

Crosses are still annoying, but they gotta get there first.

Responsiveness is still an issue, the 2 second delay is atrocious and happens when your player first gets the pass or you come to complete stop.

Yeah, sitting on 1.6 million coins, but everything is overpriced now. I do see prices are dropping on some cards, Paulinho was going for 20k now he is 3k or something.

I sell and never buy when the game first drop, imagine Yaya Toure is selling for 100k, but by March he will go for 15k. Money to be made, Barclay players will get you your first 500k like its nothing.

I pulled Neymar and Robben early on, got 700k from those two cards. Messi on the gold pack is always lucky, I won't open a pack if Messi is not there. The packs are trash now, I don't think I would mess with them at this point. Opened 100k worth packs and only got Rooney and Navas. Thank goodness I broke even.

I've built my squad around Serie A players b/c they are dirt cheap and better than PL players. PL players cost a lot money and they aren't even that good. It might be superstition, but if Messi is on the gold pack, the premium gold back would give you good cards.

Also, watch pack openings on youtube, and maybe you can figure out which combinations gives Ronaldo, Messi, Ibrah, or Ribery.

Yeah, Ligue is underrated.

Eventually the Barclays players prices drops.

Like, Enrique was selling for 5 or 6k in the beginning, now it dropped to 1.1k. Mirallas was selling for 10k, now I think he is about 2.5k.

I made so much profit off Barclay players, that's why its good to start trading players early. Even 75 rated LB and LM were selling for 1k - 1.5k.

Messi/Vidal packs gives a lot of players, most are from Barclays. Its a tragedy to get a pack with 90% contract cards. Lucky packs will have 90% players.

An El Shaarawy pack did give me Neymar, but he's pretty unlucky as of a while now.

FIFA developers made a very lopsided game in favor of pace abusers once again. Instead of improving the AI, they spend the whole year messing around with the sliders.

They put a 0.5 seconds delay before your player pass.
They put a 0.5 seconds delay before your player shoot.
They put a 0.5 seconds delay before your goal keeper reacts.

Also any slight touch your player is effectively out the play.

If you don't have your RB or LB already selected as the player runs up the wings, they select your CB when you switch players.

Since passing, shooting, and player momentum/center of gravity is crap people run up the wings.

The cross is too damn powerful. I've seen people do desperation off balanced cross and it connects right on the money.


I swear I spend the first month of the game figuring out the weaknesses in the game play engine.

They don't do through balls on me, I play with 1 or 2 CDM. Everyone runs up the wings or do those "pin point" lob passes.

Most techniques works best on Wednesday or early am, got Eto'O this morning using this technique, sold him for 33k. Got a pack with 2 CAM>>CM position card and Hunter Chemistry style. Even if you don't get good players. Squad fitness, position cards, and chemistry cards can make you a 3k profit. The whole point is not to get those horrible packs with kits, badges, balls and player training cards.

I don't always stick with Vidal, but I won't open a pack if Messi is not there. Check youtube for some other lucky combinations, I just stuck with Messi for the longest now. The face card is something to watch, not just the player on the gold pack and premium gold pack.

Last year it was Hart and Chamberlain. I got TOTW and TOTS quite often, most of the TOTW players were 30k. But I did a lot better with TOTS players because they all sold for a lot more. This year I got TOTW Lukaku, sold him for 170k, I think he is selling for 60k now. I got a few other TOTW players, but they were 30k.
