I'd love to hear Herb over Madlib and Dilla production, personally. He's lyrical enough to occupy a similar lane that Boldy, Griselda, Roc Marciano, etc does in terms of working with producers that 35+ year old backpackers wanna hear (Madlib, Darringer, Alch, Premo, etc.)

However, his audience / appeal is too mainstream at this point for that pivot to make any sense for him financially.
