Pac became bigger than hip hop to be honest. People aren't referring to Digital Underground/2Pacalypsd Pac when they say they love Pac or grew up listening to him. Its moreso knowing the hits of each era then Death Row Pac then all of sudden he's their favorite rapper. They dont walk back hip hop from the inception and learn samples or what not. Its all homage given from a personal perspective due to their upbringing, not just what he did for hip hop.shyt don’t even matter at this point. It be funny cause they’ll know Pac though. You might as well say you don’t know Pac at this point too![]()

ignore that dudeRegardless you know the song
its better that wayWho’s gives a fukk if he don’t know who Dilla and Madlib are?
Who the fukk is G Herbo?
Should be mad at them he can't help them nikkas ignant. You mad he exposing them.Is this the premise of the show? Some smug geek Fred brow beating black hood dudes about “hip hop culture”
This is a weird question.I love Dilla and Madlib. But why am I to assume somebody else should know who they are? He was a baby/young kid when Dilla was active AND I don't think he is into that subgenre of rap/hip hop overall. This is nothing to have outrage over. If anything its a teachable moment for him if he is interested. Put him on to their greatness.
I’ve been a rap fan my entire life. Why should I know these people?
Post one song of there’s that’s universally known

not surprised. i'm from the midwest. knew a bunch of people from chi and detroit and they aint know who dilla was. aint no way they'd know who the hell madlib was. a lot of rappers post 2005, dont give a flying fukk about anything that isnt pop/popish.
ignore that dudeits better that way
Here’s a few
