Gen X never catches any heat for what they did/are doing to the world.

I’ve seen a fair amount of folks from Gen X say “we had to raise ourselves”

And I hear that and it’s sad, but tbh y’all should’ve either not had kids or gotten therapy before having them because shyt’s fukked and y’all knew it :yeshrug:

This whole "Generation war" is so corny to me.

Some Gen Xers caused harm to the planet, just like some Boomers cause harm to the planet, so on and so forth.

A 43 year old peasant farmer from Laos has very little in common with a 48 year old hedge fund manager from New England.

Gen X is widely accepted as 1965 to 1980.

And recently Havard has declared
Those born between 1965 and 1984 are Generation X, and the cohort born between 1985 and 2004 are millennials
:mjlol: that alone should tell you that this whole clustering people in generations is bullshyt. A person born between 1980 and 1984 has more in common with a person born in the 90's than with someone born in 1965:camby:

Brehsident evil
X are like the most victim of everyone..

-Not computer savvy enough in a computer world
-Studied the wrong field because they taught they would be successful
-not enough manual skills because the world was filled with boomer
-got hit with that divorce flow heavy...men lost so much..

One of their few strength is the housing market...if they owned one..it should be paid...
Honnestly...it goes boomers, millenials and then gen x for easy life...

Gen X had a good 10 to 15 years in the job market, before 2008 Crash. They had GOAT level entertainment that kept them distracted, on top of being on the streets, scrapping for props, but they had a massive opportunity to change things for the better, and they squandered it in order to be a hybrid of super thuggish/baller.

Now they the same ones that ditched traditional parenting and households, and raised Gen Z aka the softest feminized gen ever. Too busy being in the club well into the 40s and 50s will do that to you.

facts

they did nothing to make the world better or worse, they saw it and dealt with the repercussions

Then doing NOTHING is what makes them and extremely disappointing group of people. But they got the AUDACITY to call out millenials and Gen Gen z

There is newer term called Xennials .

Xennials are a "micro-generation" born between 1977 and 1985. This group has also been called the "Oregon Trail Generation."

Also Xennials have a lot in common culture wise with Gen X imo.

J Cole is a Xennial Rapper he has Gen X Rap sensibilities but also can adapt to young milllenial and Gen Z taste

I've always said Gen X had the opportunity to put the black community in way better position than we were but they got complacent and dropped the ball terribly.

Also for as much as Gen X lost in the recession because if their age and experience they may have recovered to a certain degree if not fully compared to other generations.
They may or may not be completely true to black Gen X though.

It’s too many Larsa Pippen’s (46) and whatever the male equivalent of her out here trying to raise the youth.

It’s like these nikkas don’t get it, they’ve seen Jay nem grow up and mature but too many are stuck either in their early 20s or are trying to create the early 20s they wish they had.

a generation of horrible parents and horrible role models but with the balls to tell others to grow up and tell others what they are doing wrong :hhh:
