Legal action on quitting? They gonna sue someone for quitting a job?

bluff. good luck getting that enforced in court. What state is this? If employment is at will they have no leg to stand onthe firm my friend works at increased the notice period up to 30 to 60 days depending on your level just to keep people around a little bit longer cause so many were quittingYounger folks are still like fukk that and walking off in two weeks
they had to start threatening legal action
workers can call their bluff. Don't owe these muhfukkas shyt

That’s bullshyt and wouldn’t stand up in court…the same doesn’t apply when an employee is getting firedNah for leaving before the notice period unless agreed upon.
Basically they are saying you have to give 30 days notice period when you quit. You can work out with your manager to do less but if you walk off before the end of the notice period and the firm suffer some type of lost because they don't have someone to do your job they can seek legal action against you
This. All these mf laid off a gang of people in 2020, no one forgotKeep y'all foot on these employers necks!! Don't get comfortable.
And honestly this is good for everyone as they are forced to improve conditions to retain employees ESPECIALLY in a worker shortage.
Keep checking for new opportunities and don't be afraid to quit once a better/less soul sucking opportunity comes up. They will fire you just as quick as you'd quit. Look out for you![]()
No expenses. So no problem. Remember we got a thread going on the main page about young dudes not procreating or getting married. Earlier in the day we also had a thread on the absence of buyable homes, so genZ has no mortgage nor do they have the desire to get one. That's fine and dandy until their parents kick them out of the house and they have a blank resume with no references

Good.
They think it's cool to ask you to work on weekends and stay after work for little to no OT.
They think its cool to interview an applicant 3 times and then not even bother to call them to tell them thrt didn't get the job
They think its cool to cancel the time you put in for vacation
They think its okay to ask you to have 3+ years experience for an entry level job and lie to you about what you'd actually be doing while paying you as little as possible
I hope that foot stays on these pigs necks. They deserve worse.
