Probably one of the wackest beats on the album.

But we got a lot of people on here scared to say how they really feel about sh*t, depending on who the artist is.

And that's really what's killed a lot of albums for NYC rappers these days. The generic beats. Jadakiss can't get it right either with the beats. People talk about why NY fell off all day, but the answer, is the production. Once the budgets got smaller, n*ggas stopped putting a focus on production and would just get tracks from anybody who had a discount going at the moment. Both Rae and Ghost could've made classics, with better production.
Say it again :snoop:

.brehs on here saying that the other one was better sequenced or flows better are on residual angel dust like Ghost was making that album :dead:

That album is an all time classic 1/1 because one of the greatest and most creative lyricists in hip hop was coming down from a massive angel dust high and went on a trip to Africa just to detox :russ:
I haven't heard SC2 yet but 2 things can be true at once...

Hmmm, not sure which ones he did but maybe he doesn’t know how to mix GFK tracks - same principles he uses for a Jay-Z track don’t necessarily translate for a GFK one. This is why rappers tend to stick with the same engineers i.e Kendrick with Ali, Drake with 40, etc as they know how to mix the tracks around that particular MCs vocal.

This is why RZA should’ve probably been involved in some capacity - Ghost’s tone and delivery is so unique that maybe there’s some techniques that he could’ve consulted on which he’s picked up after producing and mixing Ghost tracks for over 30 years. I’m honestly shocked that the mixing on here isn’t as good as on its predecessor which came out over 25 years ago.

How much mixing does Rza do? In his Drink Champs interview, he said he really does thing in an unorthodox way.

I don't know who that is but that slow ass loop doesn't improve the song at all. Sucks all of the energy out of it.

Producer for Mach-Hommy, Armand Hammer, Blu among others.

I don't think the beat for Ironman is among his best but it's an upgrade on that budget ass shyt Ghost was croaking over

Perfect example of “stuck in the 90’s” ass old nikkaz, if I was GFK,Rae etc y’all get the 3K treatment. If the albums not gonna do numbers & y’all gon bytch regardless, why break the budget for beats? I don’t wanna hear bout no WSG cuz he’s a whiny voice Wu Tang wannabe. :mjlol:
