"The new album will feature an array of guests, too, including Nas, Raekwon, Method Man, GZA, Redman, Conway The Machine, Styles P, M.O.P., and Dave Chappelle"

:blessed:

Mad guests.

I've heard about 2/3 of the album, and I can already tell that people are gonna be complaining about mad sh*t, lol. I need to hear it fully, with the later tracks. But so far, I think it's right about on par with Chef's joint.

Sadly, Ghost's voice is cooked. I don’t know what the rest of the production sounds like, but I'm a little worried.

I don’t know WHAT you were listening to but Ghost’s voice sounds anything BUT cooked on this latest single.

I just wasn't a fan of the majority of their work. like I said "the message" is one of :ahh: best songs he ever made.

True, and "The Message" is one of my favorite Nas joints ever.

But Trackmasters was talking about some "We didn't want him rapping over an album full of Premier and Pete Rock boom bap beats". That's why Pete was on the radio talking sh*t about Tone. LOL!! They wanted to make Nas more commercial.

New track is hard but gonna be divisive with them flipping the Mighty Healthy sample again with that whistling effect overlaid. Main thing for me is Ghost sounding re-energized like he was on Rae album, he was sleepwalking for a long time before that.
"Whistling effect"?!?:childplease:

Rae played it right by giving it a separate name. Dope veteran album without undue expectations. Surprised Ghost would call it SC2 if it wasn't crazy. But he been teasing it so long just got to let it go I suppose.

You'll hear it more on the album.

His voice isn't the same. Chef's voice is. Starks' sh*t sounds rough now.

I noticed it immediately on the single. His voice is different. It's been like that for a while. It sounds more gruff and raspy.
