I heard it’s no bread in Florida in trucking, well at least grabbing a load leaving out of FL…
The drivers from FL get all of it. I heard it's not that bad if you're with a good company or you have connections

Your boy just got his CDL-A permit

You better not be out here with an automatic restriction

RGN?
And I agree. Specialized freight is where the money is at

I personally am not trying to do over sized loads must don’t want that wear and tear on my truck

I have 450k miles now. Breakdowns is the last thing I want I can not STAND truck mechanics and dealership shops…
RGN trailer

Specialized is fine you just have to have the right truck set up for it.. make sure got that Cat engine and 18sp..

Car hauling might be the way to go.. never a shortage in that arena

Just want to add—- please just be haz qualified. I know I keep saying that through this thread… it’s one of the hugest issue to move freight and find out the haz loaded in the nose gotta be backstripped and now I gotta go piss off dock sups
Can't think of many tanker companies doing O/O outside of Ewell
SHHHHHHIIIDDDDTTT OVTL needs em.

Let me ask you because I have my standard class A with a air brake, passenger, school endorsement… If I get a haz endorsement can I do power only where it’s just a drop and hook? I ain’t trying to hook up no fuel lines and shyt… this is literally part time for me I have a day job but trucking is hobby for me.. if I can make more bread on the side then it’s a win regardless..

See you going above my head now— as far as I know the OVTL & other all 3rd party drivers are drop and hook. We don’t allow contract drivers on the dock. We load the equipment and the drivers grab it and go. only hang up is we don’t do live unloads— you finna wait if you trying to get ur equipment back quick. In most cases when it’s power only the load should be ready by the time u arrive. In other cases freight might it be slow so we gotta scrape as much as we can to fill the equipment all the way. Ready time might be 1400 and it won’t be ready and full til like 2300.

I feel horrible when it be that way

Trucker ‘begs’ for cancellation of B1 Visas he says put American truckers out of business

“This is a Mexican national,” he explains, pointing at a semi truck parked at a truck stop. “He’s supposed to come to America with a load from Mexico, drop it, and leave. They don’t. They stay over here 6 months at a time, and even longer! A lot of them just live here in America illegally, committing what is called cabotage.”

Trump administration pausing issuance of visas for foreign truck drivers, Rubio says

Too late. They've gotten too many folks used to working for peanuts. Staying out for a month for dollar general manager pay :mjlol:

I saw the writing on the wall a few years ago. If you ain't specialized, LTL, or drive for Wally world...
