Actually they do. There's some "Hipster" ass hockey fans that try to go against the grain but everyone with half a brain knows Gretzky is the goat. And there's really no logic debate about it.

Nah breh Lemieux is the goatOnly reason its a debate is cuz Gretzky moved to LA in his prime to a bum ass team...Had he stayed with the Oilers another 6 seasons with that juggernaut..theres no debate that Gretzky would have been the unanimous GOAT....

All regular season.
So in your Eyes, Peyton Manning >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Montana, because its all about Stats, right?
You are going to ignore the Fact that Wayne Gretzky compared to Michael Jordan in the Playoffs is LAUGHABLE? If he's such a good scorer / assist man, why didn't he win 6 Playoff MVPs? Why wasn't he even the best person on his own team in 2 of the Finals WINS?
You have no way to explain it... So you run to regular season stats that are hollow in comparison.
Fun Fact: Michael Jordan has the highest regular season PER in NBA history......
Highest in the regular season, in HISTORY.... Higher than ANYONE....
In the Playoffs, his PER is higher than it was in the regular season.....
/thread
The thing about the way the NBA is set up is that it's really hard to win a championship unless you really are the best.
So the fact that Jordan was so consistent (6/6 finals w/ 6 fmvps)... that means he was really the best. Like, really... REALLY the best.
But I'm ignorant to hockey. Jordan had Pippen. Did Gretzky ever play with another great player?

Nope.
We can EASILY Judge him off of the 6 Stanley Cups he did make it to and his Playoff performances.
Jordan never lost MVP, Gretzky lost it 4 times
Jordans scoring average / PER both INCREASED in the playoffs (even though they were already the best all time in the reg season), Gretzkys scoring average took a dive
If Gretzky was a GOD , there is NO WAY he'd lose MVP 2 times to his own teammates, in Stanley cup WINS
The fact yall fukkboys keep ignoring this shyt is HILARIOUS...
You keep saying Gretzky had no peer and was so FARRRR ahead of his peers, what the fukk happened in the Playoffs????
Why does someone have 3 Playoff MVPs and he only has 2?? Why does JOrdan have 6 Playoff MVPs and the next highest has 3??
Anyway anybody can answer this shyt without sounding like a total gretzky stan?![]()

But seriously, this is an interesting debate, especially since both of them were playing at the same time, so it can be examined greater.Oh , for the record...
Jordan has the highest regular season scoring average in history, with 30.12
It went up to 33.45 in the playoffs
Call somebody the goat when they're productivity took a dive in the playoffs and the other guy you're comparing him to who was already the best in the regular season rose to an EVEN HIGHER LEVEL brehs![]()
Certainly he was more talented than Gretzky, Gretzky had the better IQ and vision for the game and didn't suffer through cancer like Lemieux didNah breh Lemieux is the goat

I really don't know who the fukk he is. I just know his name is thrown around as a hockey goatI really don't know who the fukk he is. I just know his name is thrown around as a hockey goat
