Obviously emotion is being placed higher than logic at this current time. But there should be no ban on guns as long as police and military can still have them. If those two agency are allowed to have them then that means guns are still being produced which means they can still be obtained.

Do you honestly think this lame coward would have had the heart to scour the black market for a gun if strict laws successfully drove firearms underground? A market ran by gentlemen that would probably make him come up off that buy money soon as they clapped eyes on him.

Youre allowing the softest members of society to kill at the press of a button with these nothing laws. thats the sad thing about guns, fukking up all kinds of darwisnist theories and natural male hierarchies. its incredible that some 90lb virgin could potentially do something to me.

Naw ban them. I don't see the reason to have them. All people have done with guns in their history is terrorize others.

Where I shouldn't be
On a serious tip, it seems totally irrational that the US allows guns to such a degree. Yes a constitutional right but really that was 200 years ago. Obama should ban em, too many dangerous people use them in tragic situations like this.

the only logical thing to do about gun control is to require all law abiding citizens to carry a firearm.

i guarantee violent crime would decrease if this happened. how many criminals are going to run up on you if they know that you got that thing on you?

this is the only way to combat the out of control gun violence at this point. stricter gun laws/control do not work, it's already been proven.

I don't feel that a bad should be in order, I'm a firm believer in the black market argument for that one. I am for stricter background checks and licensing though.

How do you all feel about knives? Shouldn't we get rid of them, too?

Banning guns is simply a reactionary solution to a deeper issue and inherently stupid. Should guns have stricter regulation? of course. Should they be outright banned? no.

"but the criminals have guns" yeah, they're criminals.

In countries with restrictive gun laws, gun crimes are usually localized to drug/gang related and basically only brought out for hits. Having a gun in most cases would mean making a commitment to criminality.

This lil fakkit was a law abiding citizen.

But I guess the teachers should have been strapped too? You made a great suggestion breh, now anytime somebody gets into a conflict and emotions boil over, they need the ability to take life on their hip...bravo

yes you can ban certain types of combat knifes, as in the UK. I dont give one fack about rabbit hunting or any other silly pastime this would deprive anybody of so dont waste your time listing them.

because if you think this character had the mental and physical fortitude plus the skill to end the lives of 30 people with a bread knife youve got another thing coming.

i lived in Kennesaw, GA for years and they have a similar law to what i mentioned on the books there. It also has one of the lowest crime/gun violence rates in the nation.

the method that i've suggested has been tested there and it worked, why not try it elsewhere? the stricter gun control laws have been applied to many other areas in the US and have not worked.
