Why wouldn't the media promote working hard? If you dont promote hard work then you literally destroy the talent pool of employees, because nobody will actually be doing work, everyone will be in it for themselves and that won't work in capitalism.

Same raises every year no good job nothing fukk ittrue i remember where i worked there were people who bragged about not being late or calling in sick. When you are a smart worker, you aren't asking how to start something, your looking at the most cost efficient way to do things and trying to find the people who are connected to these things.
