He played relatively fine against de/mn and obliterated dallas as any good qb should.

Have you seen what those defenses are doing to other qbs right now :mjlol:

Lamar got sacked like 8 times :dead:
Exactly. A quarterback is as good as the line blocking for him.

A bunch of bum ass coaches getting together for a hit piece :camby:

If Caleb walked away from you when you were talking to him that's because you were a lame duck coach who wasn't going to be in the building next season. I'm sure multiple players weren't rocking with the coaching staff not just him. He's not doing that to Ben Johnson because he gets respect from his players.

So. Cal
Which is crazy, because last year Williams threw for over 3,500 yards, 20 touchdowns against only 6 interceptions. That is a good rookie season by anybody standards.
Thats called stat watching. The nikka was ass and inaccurate last year. he had a 62% completion and a QB rating of 87.8.

The league average completion percentage rating was only 65% and that included teams that had good offensive lines and better coaches than Williams had. Williams was sacked over 60 times last year, which was the third highest total in NFL history. So tthere should be perspective utilized when looking at a rookie quarterback stats. You also need to look at his coaches and teammates. How many games did the Bears lose last year on the final play? Well Williams must have played well enough in those games to get them wins if they had better coaching.

The problem here is for all accounts Ben Johnson has said Caleb is very easy to work with and picks shyt up quickly so either the respected offensive genius no nonsense coach is lying for...reasons...or the scorned dogshyt coaches like Flose and Waldron trying to save face

which is more likely?
When did ben say he picked things up easy

once again I must ask. What is more believable. Scorned coaches fabricating how much part they had in the fukkery, who are still bad fukking coaches. Or Caleb being a dyslexic gay curmudgeon who everyone is seemingly terrified of.

The situation is probably this and somewhere in the middle. Caleb has some form of ASD that overlaps with his dyslexia. But it's very hard to pick up on the ASD Level 1 unless you know key traits and signs so it goes unnoticed. One of the things with neurodivergents is the need for stimulation. Whatever they were coaching him last year wasn't stimulating to him. Now it's not his fault he cannot help it but the fallout from this is that person can be seen as aloof arrogant and look not bothered. And this year whatever Ben Johnson and staff are coaching it stimulating and engages him.

Some of those sacks were his fault. He also got sacked a lot in college.

@DropTopDoc as a Bears fan, I can't tell if you fukk wit Cha boi, Caleb, or if you not really feelin' da new sass gawd like that? :russ:

Wasnt a fan of his at usc

Felt we should trade back

He’s shown flashes, but i don’t think he has the mentality to put it together to be that nikka

He’s shown that you can find fault and praise him so that divides most bears fans

They either blindly all in, or all against him

I’m more wait and see but not happy with him
