You know what, I had Duncan ahead of Hakeem before I read through this thread, and this might actually be a first in Coli history - I've actually changed my mind because of what I read on here.

It was already close anyway, but I now have it Shaq > Hakeem > Duncan. They're all just within a hairline of each other though.

I got it Hakeem>Duncan>Shaq. Hakeem was just a next level athlete and just flat out dominant defensively and offensively. Hakeem had some pretty bad rosters around him or else I think his teams would've saw much greater success.

Of course the ATL
Why is Duncan considered a PF when his true position is C? Even Pop & Duncan admitted to this recently. Everybody always looks at him as the best PF of all time, but if he's really been a C this whole time, where does he rank?

better footwork in the post like the dream shake, bettet shot blocker, teams game planned harder against dream. Look at his teammates comparef to duncans. If they switched teams how many chips do duncan win with the rockets. None. Hakeem wins six with the dpurs talent and coaching.

I agree with this post.

If you took Hakeem off those '94/'95 Rockets and replaced him with Duncan, they never get past the Barkley/KJ Suns.

Duncan is more methodical, but Dream was better at just about everything.

As good as Duncan is, I never really fear him when he's playing against my team. It's hard to explain. He's the most outstanding fundamental guy ever, but I've never felt that he was "dominant".I've never seen him completely dominate a game on both ends of the floor like I have with Hakeem.

Ask yourself, who was a better defender....A prime Tim Duncan or a prime David Robinson?

More often than not, people will say David Robinson. He was wayyyy more athletic, stronger, and quicker.

Now just remember how Dream did the Admiral back in those '95 playoffs when David Robinson was at the top of his game/MVP form?

If it was Duncan, it would've been doubly worst imo

Nah, Duncan was better than Robinson

Duncan dominated on both ends, just not like Hakeem

Duncan is supposedly better than the same Hakeem who destroyed David Robinson in the playoffs?

Olajuwon dominates Robinson - YouTube

People really think Duncan could see this dude?:what:

I know Duncan has that "good ol boy"..."do it the right way" quiet/fundamental approach.

BUT fukk THAT shyt.

He's not on Dream's level

Watching that vid just reinforced my opinion.

Duncan played in the era of watered down, p*ssy big men.

He wouldn't know what to do with Hakeem.

Duncan better than David Robinson on D?

I know Dream shytted on him, but DR could hold his own against anybody else.

I've seen a prime Tim Duncan get treated like this

By a rookie Amare.

On offense, I agree that Duncan is better and more efficient than DR.

On D, I'm taking the Admiral. He was one of the most athletic bigs ever
