Id say he was third tier. Nash had one of the worst main event runs in WWF history though most of it was the bad downturn in the business. Cena has been getting booed for years and doesnt draw in half of the fans WCW was drawing in the 90's. Sting was a huge merch mover (the ONLY one in early 90's WCW).
As I said before Sting had his good points and bad but dude was over and theres no amount of spinning or revisionist perspectives will change that. If he isnt a personal favorite of yours, thats fine. But if you are going to give Cena props for being over (which you should) Sting deserves no shade. Like it or not, he was a central part of the single biggest wrestling storyline ever which for that alone makes him a legend.
^^very solid points. Sting got the ball early on in WCW at a horrible horrible time for business right after Flair left and Bill Watts was running it into the ground.
