How BIG do you see Benny becoming with this Def Jam/Rocnation push he is about to get?

Not big at all. Maybe can hit 50k with the right feature/single. For instance maybe that Cole single would have got him to 50k first week with Def Jam pumping it, instead of the 20k he did independently. That's prob the ceiling IMO.

End of the day he's a 40yo balding dude with mutton chops...not even Interscope can do magic tricks.

What I think the vast majority of you dudes failing to realize is that the Def Jam deal is being looked at by Benny as a way to maximize his talent/abilities so that he can benefit the most from what he does. He wants to reach new heights in his career as far as expanding his sound, challenging himself by opening himself up to new chances and the possibility he may be able to create something previously not attainable independently. I don’t think Benny whatsoever is trying to be something he is not. That hasn’t been his M.O. throughout his entire career. He’s not trying to be Kodak Black or Lil Baby.

Benny previously passed on major label deals and continued to drop independent albums. He was waiting for the right time & the right spot. He got his million+ dollar deal with Def Jam. I don’t know what else you want for me to say.
I'm saying he didn't get a million *deal not dollars. A budget, a production loan. We don't know the stipulations.

People celebrate these deals only to say after the fact they not pocketing money

I don't see a market for him. Can't even say his ceiling is Pusha T cause at least Pusha T had 20+ yrs of cultivating a fanbase that aged with him. Benny is new to a lot of people, even old people.

Lowkey the Griselda play was a brilliant finesse. Westside look like he really positioned himself to eat in different lanes off the strength of a movement that has limited marketability or potential growth
