Two small market teams who haven't won anything. Bron and Steph both still the faces of the league. What stories are there to tell except they both are having good seasons? It's gonna be even funnier when Jokic wins 3 MVP's and casuals still really won't know who he is.
In what world is Denver bigger than Miami. Miami is more than double the size
10 people dapped this![]()
Totally different sporting culturesFunny enough Europeans are a lot more accepting (or have had more time to accept the fact) of foreigners being at the top of Club football than Americans are of the same happening in their respective sports.
Following on SM and watching/going to games are very different. All them girls are not adding money or viewership stats the the NBA’s bottom lineJalen Green has a built in fanbase without ever going to college.
No young hooper under the age of 25 has a bigger female fanbase than Jalen Green.
Going to college SHOULD give you those things by default because that's a fanbase that generally roots for laundry. For example, it doesn't matter how many trash ass basketball players come from Syracuse. @Loose gonna ride out because they rep the school. Same with me and UNC or the ones who rep Duke.
I think just one in Serbia. Malone said something a while back about how many endorsement offers he turns downIf Jokic had Boban Marjanovic's personality, then he'd be more celebrated. Has Jokic appeared in any commercials?
I mean, Euros play in leagues and/or tournaments that consist of different countries all the time, they know there is talent everywhere so it’s easy to accept someone from outside dominating. The US at most includes a few teams in Canada, but when we play the world in world championships (aside from the men’s World Cup) we dominate, so we see ourselves as the top talent. Having people come in from other countries and not just play, but dominate, it’s the antithesis of everything we know/accept about America vs the World…the reason I think cacs dropped baseball as the American pastimeFunny enough Europeans are a lot more accepting (or have had more time to accept the fact) of foreigners being at the top of Club football than Americans are of the same happening in their respective sports.
Oakland isn’t the market, the Bay Area is, and it’s the #6 media marketI don’t think markets really matter. Cleveland or Oakland weren’t thought of as big markets for the nba before those two arrive. Star power is star power and it’s subjective.
He’s good, but not flashyI always wondered why someone like Jayson Tatum isn’t more popular. Kids these day’s only care about Ja and Lamelo![]()
They got helmets and pads on though hiding their skin and facesnfl is 75% black too
For sure if they both didn’t look like blobs white Americans would ride them way harderThe honest answer is because they're both fat.
