That's why I have to give Chris brown credit. Dude has been able to make the same type of dance music his whole career and never fall off. It's not easy making hit records but CB has the formula down packed.

this implies they were peers or neck and neck...rihanna had waaaay more clout than ciara, not just the people choosing her, she had earned her spot. rih had been dominating charts from 06-12 at that time, hit records from every album which she was dropping every year.
rih's role in current music is pretty much only second to beyonce, and arguably first when you consider better chart performance, records "sold", and her outside ventures and influence.

However, I'm not sure if you were following her career back then or not but the tranny rumors were HEAVY, it wasn't some hardly talked about secret. The rumors were everywhere. Then years later it came out that Jazze Pha was fukkin with a Tranny in ATL, so it's certainly within the realm of possibility that he put her on because he's into trannies, and she's trans. Lastly, just look at her closely, she has masculine features and she's a big girl. You can think whatever you want, but don't try to play it off like the whole tranny thing with Ciara is 100% baseless.
